SDPB is a vital community resource producing and broadcasting high-quality, commercial-free programs and valuable community outreach projects that educate, enlighten and entertain.

SDPB's education & outreach efforts enhance and expand the learning experiences available every day on Television, Radio, and Online. Our Education Specialist provides classroom resources for teachers, workshops for educational institutions, information for home-schoolers, parents and child-care providers, continuing education courses for college students and adults, and local educational television programs, as well as conducting other outreach projects for all of the citizens of South Dakota.

SDPB is a member-supported, community-based, commercial-free public broadcasting service supported by the Friends of SDPB. Friends of SDPB is a 501 (c)(3) organization that supports SDPB's mission of lifelong learning through fundraising and advocacy.

About Real Estate Donations

SDPB partners with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) to process real estate donations to benefit SDPB. Our program takes any property type (land, homes, commercial) in any location so long as there is equity. Even if you owe back taxes, have a mortgage balance, or deferred maintenance, it's no problem. We will pay off all loans, liens, commissions owed and pay all closing costs. If you have a real estate asset that is costing you money or not being utilized, donating it is a great way to give back and you may even claim a significant tax deduction!
